About Home Assist.
Beginning with one employee in a small corner of The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in 1995 to its present 7200 square foot facility at 609 E. Lauchwood Drive in Laurinburg in December 2003.
Home Assist Medical Equipment, Inc. is owned and operated by Andy and Leigh Ingram, residents of Laurinburg, NC. Andy, a life-long resident of Laurinburg, has seen the needs of area residents change over the years. A baby boomer himself, he knows that many patients in need of healthcare will require it in their homes and it is for this reason that he started his business.
Accredited by ACHC, Home Assist serves Scotland, Robeson, Hoke and Richmond Counties of North Carolina as well as Marlboro and Chesterfield Counties of South Carolina.
Home Assist began as a part of The Medicine Shoppe of Laurinburg in 1995. From a small corner in the pharmacy with one employee, it grew to occupy a house next door in 1997 as Home Assist Medical Equipment, Inc. Now, with 10 employees, Home Assist moved to its present 7200 square foot facility at 609 E. Lauchwood Drive in Laurinburg in December 2003.
